Product Information

Part #: HB453G.585. The Hawk DTC - 60 brake pads offer less torque and initial bite than the DTC - 70. They're ideal for lighter vehicles, delivering outstanding performance. Great for drivers who want different friction levels between the front and rear axles. With excellent release and modulation, these pads can handle temperatures from 400 to 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit. You can use them on the front of lower - horsepower cars or on cold days when DTC - 70 pads won't heat up well. Also, they have relatively low rotor and pad wear rates.

Using the Hawk DTC - 60 front racing brake pads is straightforward. Just install them following your vehicle's standard brake pad replacement procedure. When driving, you'll notice the excellent performance right away, especially in lighter vehicles. On cold days, these pads are a great choice as they work well when DTC - 70 pads struggle to heat up. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the wear of both the pads and rotors. Since these pads have relatively low wear rates, you won't need to replace them too often. But regularly check the brake system for any signs of damage or excessive wear. If you're using these pads on a lower - horsepower car, they'll perform great without over - stressing the braking system. Just drive as you normally would and enjoy the smooth braking experience.
