Product Information

Part #: HB453U.585. The Hawk DTC - 70 is a top - notch high - torque racing brake pad. It can handle temperatures from 400 to 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit. As a more powerful version of the DTC - 60, it's perfect for high - speed vehicles that need repeated strong deceleration. You can use it on the front or rear axle. If you want different friction levels between the front and rear, pair it with the DTC - 60. It works great on road race cars and asphalt circle track cars. Part Number: HB453U.585

Using these Hawk DTC - 70 front racing brake pads is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle model is one of the compatible ones: Subaru STI from 2004 - 2017, Mitsubishi EVO 8 & 9 from 2003 - 2006, or Hyundai Genesis Coupe from 2010 - 2013 with Brembo. Install the pads on either the front or rear axle as needed. If you want different friction for the front and rear, use the DTC - 60 on one and these DTC - 70 on the other. When driving, these pads perform best in high - speed and high - deceleration situations. But remember, since they're designed for racing, they can get very hot. Don't touch them right after driving. For maintenance, regularly check the brake pads for wear. If they look too thin, it's time to replace them. Also, keep the brake area clean to ensure the best performance.
