Subtle Solutions Radiator Shroud Brushed Subaru WRX / STI 2008-2014

Part #: ENG - 2111 - BRU. This Subtle Solutions Radiator Shroud is a great upgrade. When air hits the radiator, it usually gets divided and billows into the engine bay. But this shroud is designed to let air directly hit the radiator face, boosting cooling efficiency. It's made of 304 stainless steel. It's CAD - designed, CNC - pressed, and laser - cut, then powder - coated in a nice blue for rust and corrosion protection. Besides better cooling, it covers the gap between the radiator, AC condenser, and front clip of your vehicle, giving you a handy spot for tools during maintenance. Note that you'll need to remove the yellow/orange hood prop clip to install it. After installation, you can choose Subtle Solutions hood props or other aftermarket ones. If you have a larger aftermarket radiator, some trimming may be needed for a proper fit.

Using this radiator shroud is easy. First, remove the yellow/orange hood prop clip. Then install the shroud in place. After that, you can decide to use Subtle Solutions hood props or other aftermarket ones. When you're doing maintenance on your vehicle, you can use the area covered by the shroud to put your tools. As for maintenance, the blue powder - coated finish provides good protection against rust and corrosion, but it's still a good idea to check it regularly for any signs of damage. If you have a larger aftermarket radiator, you might need to trim the shroud for it to fit properly. Just be careful when trimming to make sure you don't damage the shroud.
