Using the Perrin rear shifter bushing is simple. First, make sure your car's engine is off and the parking brake is engaged. Then, follow the included installation guide to remove the old soft rubber bushing on the back of the shifter rod. After that, install the new Perrin bushing in its place. It should fit snugly. When driving, you'll notice a more responsive shifter. As for maintenance, check the bushing periodically for any signs of wear or damage. If you see cracks or excessive wear, it's time to replace it. Remember, this product is only for manual transmissions, so don't try to use it on an automatic vehicle.
