Product Information

Part #: TIC - 1001 - 01 - 0025. TiC's unique tranny crossmember bushings are designed for Subaru MT models. First, the color is cherry blossom red, a warrior - like hue. It might seem pink at first glance, but just remember, you'll see this vibrant red STi badge speeding ahead. Second, these bushings are super easy to install. They have a symmetrical shape, with a bump on one side and a bore on the other, fitting together like the perfect harmony of Yin and Yang. These bushings replace the stock rubber pieces between your tranny subframe parts. Unlike the soft stock rubber, they're made of stiffer urethane, which helps to stiffen up the driveline and reduce play in the system. Take a look at the stock bushings, and you'll be shocked at how soft they are. And yes, they're cherry blossom red! Note: These bushings fit 1997 - 2009 Subarus. For 1997 - 2007 Imprezas, don't use the thin spacer. For 2008+ Imprezas and 2005+ Legacies, use the thin spacer.

Using these Turn In Concepts transmission crossmember bushings is straightforward. First, remove the old stock rubber bushings from your Subaru's tranny subframe. Then, simply install the new bushings. They're designed to fit together easily, so no cutting is required. When installing, remember the note about the thin spacer. For 1997 - 2007 Imprezas, leave the thin spacer out. For 2008+ Imprezas and 2005+ Legacies, use the thin spacer. As for maintenance, these urethane bushings are more durable than the stock rubber ones. But it's still a good idea to check them periodically for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it's best to replace them right away to keep your vehicle performing at its best.
