Product Information

EXEDY cerametallic clutches are engineered to endure the harsh demands of high - power modified engines. Their cerametallic friction material far outperforms stock disc assemblies, resisting slipping and fading even under heavy use. All EXEDY Stage 2 cerametallic clutch discs come with sprung center dampers. These dampers significantly reduce the impact and shock loads transferred through the drivetrain. This is the thick - version of the Stage 2 clutch. The thick discs have excellent heat capacity, ensuring better durability in tough applications. Despite the thickness, Exedy's puck designs generally have less inertia than stock discs, making them ideal for street, rally, and track driving. The torque capacity measured at the wheels is 326 Ft/Lbs. Fitment Note: For 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT, a 2006 - 2007 WRX flywheel is required for proper fitment.

Using the Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit is straightforward. Just install it according to the standard procedures for your Subaru WRX (2006 - 2017) or Legacy GT (2005 - 2012). Remember, if you have a 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT, you must use a 2006 - 2007 WRX flywheel for it to fit correctly. When driving, this clutch can handle high - power demands well, whether you're on the street, in a rally, or on the track. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the heat capacity. Since the thick discs are great at handling heat, you don't have to worry too much about overheating during normal use. But if you're using it for high - intensity driving, give it some time to cool down between sessions. Also, check for any signs of slipping or fading regularly. If you notice any issues, it might be time to have it inspected by a professional.
