Using the ACT Prolite flywheel is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible Subaru models mentioned in the fitment information. When installing, don't forget to use the included pressure plate bolts. For race use, this flywheel will give you a great boost in engine response and acceleration. But keep in mind, on the street, you might notice a bit of gear rattle. As for maintenance, the flywheel is serviceable and can be resurfaced. If you ever need to do that, you won't have to buy any additional parts. Just make sure to follow proper resurfacing procedures. Also, be aware that starting from mid - 2018MY production with a specific VIN, the Subaru's OEM clutch components changed, and this flywheel isn't compatible with those new parts.
