It's compatible with factory or aftermarket shift knobs and comes with an installation guide.
The shift knob is made of satin black or white delrin, which stays comfortable in all temperatures. It has an anodized aluminum base in red, black, or blue, weighs only 104 grams for fast shifts, and has a comfortable motorsports - inspired design with a unique appearance. It's 2.59 inches tall and 1.938 inches at its widest.
The reverse lockout is made of anodized 6061 billet aluminum with a delrin handle. Dual O - rings prevent rattling, and it's compatible with OEM and COBB shifters. It requires intermediate installation effort and comes with installation instructions.
The shifter bushings, with 95A durometer for the front and 85A for the rear, are made of black urethane. They eliminate slop in the shifter, improve the feel, and are direct replacements. Intermediate installation effort is needed, and installation guides are provided for both.

Using the Cobb Stage 2+ Drivetrain Package is straightforward. First, make sure to read the installation guides that come with each component carefully before starting the installation. For the short shifter, adjust the knob height and throw according to your preference. You can cut the trim ring to change the throw, but do it carefully. The shift knob is easy to grip and stays comfortable in hot or cold weather. Just install it on the shifter as instructed.
The reverse lockout helps prevent accidental shifting into reverse. Install it with the provided instructions and note that it has dual O - rings to keep it quiet. The shifter bushings are designed to eliminate slop and improve the shifter feel. They are direct replacements, so just swap out the old ones with the new ones.
When it comes to maintenance, keep the components clean. Wipe them down regularly with a soft cloth. Check the O - rings on the reverse lockout for wear and tear. If you notice any unusual noises or issues with the shifter feel, it might be a good idea to check the bushings for damage. Overall, this package is built to last, but proper care will ensure it performs well for a long time.
