Subtle Solutions Hood Struts Subaru Forester 1998-2002

Part #: ENG - 6000 - BLK. This Subtle Solutions hood strut set is designed for the 1998 - 2002 Subaru Forester (all models). It comes with a lifetime warranty on the struts. The brackets are CAD - designed and CNC laser - cut, and they're made in the USA. The package includes (2) gas struts (driver and passenger) with a black body, shaft, and end fittings. Also included are (4) stainless M8 bolts, (8) stainless M8 washers, (2) stainless M8 lock nuts, (4) M8 anodized machined aluminum washers (available in black, red, or blue), (2) zinc M8 ball studs, (2) M6 ball studs, (2) stainless M6 washers, (2) M6 anodized machined aluminum washers (black, red, or blue), and SUBTLE STICKERS!

Using these hood struts for your 1998 - 2002 Subaru Forester is easy. First, make sure your car is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off. Locate the old hood struts and carefully remove them using the included bolts and tools. Then, install the new gas struts in their place, making sure to attach them securely with the provided hardware.
