Outfront Motorsports EJ Offset Alternator Bracket Kit Subaru WRX 2002-2014 / STI 2004-2021

The Outfront Motorsports offset alternator bracket kit is a great upgrade for your Subaru. It moves the alternator to the former location of the AC compressor, enabling you to reverse the intake manifold. This kit comes with an alternator pivot side, an alternator adjustment arm, and 4 mounting bolts. Belts are also available: a 27.5” belt for the alternator without power steering and a 38” belt for the alternator with power steering. It fits 2002 - 2014 WRX, 2004 - 2018 STI, 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT / Outback XT, 2010 - 2012 Legacy GT, 2004 - 2013 Forester XT, and 2003 - 2006 Baja Turbo models.

Using this alternator bracket kit is easy. First, locate the area where the AC compressor used to be. Then, use the included mounting bolts to attach the alternator pivot side and the adjustment arm in the right places. When choosing a belt, pick the 27.5” one if you don't have power steering, and the 38” one if you do. As for maintenance, regularly check the bolts to make sure they are tight. Also, keep an eye on the belts for any signs of wear and replace them if needed. Before installation, make sure your vehicle's engine is off and cooled down to avoid any accidents.
