Their top - notch connecting rod series, the Turbo H - Tuff line, is the best you can get for your money. Manley Performance means winning, and their products power some of the fastest cars. The Manley H - Tuff Beam rods are a cost - effective alternative to the Turbo Tuff series. They're partly made in China and finished in the US to cut costs while keeping high quality. They're a great alternative to Eagle rods. These rods are weight - matched within +/- 1.5 grams and have perfectly rounded ends. They're ideal for street cars up to 600 wheel horsepower. Specs: Center - to - Center 5.137', Big End Bore 2.165', Big End Width .840', Pin Diameter .9055' (23mm), Pin Bore .9063', Gram Weight 560. Manley Pistons can be bought separately here at IIR.

Using this Manley H - Tuff Beam connecting rod set is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is a 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX with an EJ205 engine or a 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI with an EJ257 engine. And remember, you need to use aftermarket pistons as it won't work with OEM ones. When installing, handle the rods carefully as they are weight - matched to ensure smooth operation. For maintenance, regularly check the rods for any signs of wear or damage. You can do a visual inspection every few months, especially if you've been pushing your car hard. If you notice any issues, like unusual noises or vibrations, it's a good idea to have a professional mechanic take a look. Keep the rods clean and dry to prevent corrosion. With proper use and maintenance, these rods will serve you well in your street - performance vehicle.
