Enhance your engine bay's look with our Subtle Solutions Alternator Cover. This cover is a direct replacement for the plain plastic factory cover. It fits 2002 - 2014 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI, 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT (with OEM STI bracket only), 2004 - 2013 Forester XT (09 - 13 with OEM STI bracket only), and 2005 - 2009 Outback XT. Note, it won't fit 2011 - 2013 FB25 non - turbo motors. Features include a brushed finish, CAD design, CNC pressing and laser cutting, 304 stainless steel construction, anodized (black) aluminum standoffs and washers. Installation hardware is included. It's powder - coated for corrosion protection and made in the USA.

Using this alternator cover is easy. First, make sure to remove the rubber bushing on the Subaru OEM STI Power Steering Belt Cover Bracket if your vehicle requires it. The tall spacer with bolt and washer should be installed through the stock Subaru oem bracket attached to the passenger - side power steering pump. The shorter spacer and hardware with clip nut need to be installed on the alternator using the Subaru OEM STI bracket. The Subaru OEM STI Power Steering Belt Cover Bracket can be bought separately. For maintenance, simply clean it regularly with a mild cleaner to keep its brushed finish looking great and to prevent corrosion. Always check the installation hardware periodically to ensure it's tight.
