Product Information

This COBB Delrin Oil Cap is a great upgrade for your Subaru. It fits a wide range of models including the 2002 - 2022 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, 2004 - 2018 Forester XT, 2005 - 2012 Legacy GT, and 2005 - 2009 Outback XT. Made from pure medical - grade black Delrin, it won't absorb heat like aluminum caps. This means no more burning your fingers when checking the oil. The oil cap features a black finish and a laser - etched COBB logo. It comes with a new OEM seal and shims for perfect orientation and an easy installation process. The fluted edges provide a great grip, making it convenient to handle.

Using this COBB Delrin Oil Cap is easy. First, make sure your engine is cool. Remove the old oil cap from your Subaru. Take the new COBB oil cap, which comes with a new OEM seal and shims already in place. Line it up correctly with the oil fill hole and screw it on tightly. The shims help with proper orientation. When you need to check the oil, simply grip the fluted edges of the cap and unscrew it. Since it's made of Delrin, you won't have to worry about burning your fingers. As for maintenance, there's not much to do. Just keep it clean. You can wipe it down with a soft cloth every once in a while. If you notice any damage to the seal or the cap itself, it's a good idea to replace it to ensure a proper fit and prevent any oil leaks.
