Product Information

aFe is excited to present the Takeda dual cat - back exhaust system for the 2009 - 2014 Nissan GT - R (R35) with a V6 - 3.8L twin - turbo engine. Recent tests show it boosts 19 horsepower and 17 lbs. x ft. of torque. After extensive R&D, this muffler - less, straight - through design is created. It removes restrictions, maximizes power and performance without sacrificing the ideal decibel level. You can choose between 5' lightweight carbon fiber or polished 304 stainless steel quad tips. The exhaust is made of mandrel - bent 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, featuring 3' to dual 2.5' tubing. Hand - crafted and TIG welded, it uses all factory mounting spots for an easy, leak - free, bolt - on installation. The race - inspired CNC - machined stainless steel 5' tip inserts with Takeda laser - etched logos give it an aggressive yet elegant look. Part #: 49 - 36108 - P. Features include 304 stainless steel construction, a brushed finish, a straight - through muffler - less design, 5' quad tips (stainless or carbon fiber), a mitered merge collector, and OEM fitment.

Using this exhaust system is easy. First, locate the factory mounting locations on your 2009 - 2014 Nissan GT - R. Then, bolt on the exhaust system to these spots. Make sure all the connections are tight to avoid any leaks. As for maintenance, regularly check the exhaust for any signs of damage or loose parts. Clean the polished tips with a soft cloth and a mild stainless - steel cleaner. If you choose the carbon fiber tips, use a cleaner suitable for carbon fiber. When driving, try to avoid hitting curbs or other objects that could damage the exhaust. This will help keep your exhaust system in good condition and performing at its best.
