Part #: APR-AS-106763. The GTC-300 is an ideal adjustable wing for dedicated racers. It spans 67 inches and stands 13 inches tall. Its 3D airfoil shape ensures optimal airflow, reducing drag while providing a significant amount of downforce. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis validates its excellent aerodynamic design. Each GTC Series airfoil is made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber composite. The 10mm 'aircraft grade' 6061 billet aluminum pedestals with a flat black powder coat finish support the carbon fiber airfoils. Installation is easy on the 2011 - 2014 STI Sedan, using the factory wing mounting holes. However, installing on a WRX requires drilling new holes in the trunk lid.
Using the APR GTC - 300 wing is simple. For 2011 - 2014 STI Sedans, just use the existing factory wing mounting holes to attach the wing. If you have a WRX, you'll need to drill new holes in the trunk lid. When installing, make sure all bolts are tightened properly to avoid any loose parts while driving. As for maintenance, regularly check the wing for any signs of damage, especially after rough driving or racing. Clean the carbon fiber airfoils with a mild soap and water solution to keep them looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
