These overlays go over the painted fender vent portion below the WRX or STI logo, making the fender vent more noticeable. Sold as a set, and only 1 set is needed per vehicle. Fender emblems are not included. For installation, first clean the painted surface of the fender vent. Apply water or a soapy water mix to this area and the vinyl. This lets you move the product around and position it right without it bunching up because of the adhesive. Once positioned, use your finger to press the vinyl down. Avoid using a squeegee as it's abrasive and can damage the vinyl. You can press the water out with just your fingers. Using heat, like from a heat gun or hair dryer, helps the adhesive bond and can stretch the product to fill gaps when positioning. Start with low heat and see how it affects the vinyl. A good rule is if you wouldn't heat your fingers to that temp, don't heat the vinyl to it!
