Product Information

Part: # MMEXH-ADAP-SDAE. Don't let exhaust leaks spoil the great sound of your turbo Subaru. This Mishimoto exhaust adapter ensures a smooth flow between the stock downpipe and 3” exhaust. Crafted from 304 stainless steel, it won't rust, perfect for harsh climates. Installation is a breeze, taking under 15 minutes with included stainless - steel hardware and a new 3” 2 - bolt flange gasket. It fits directly onto your stock WRX exhaust flange and eliminates leaks when paired with the Mishimoto WRX/STI Cat - Back Exhaust. Plus, it comes with the trusted Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty. Fits 01+ Subaru WRX, 04+ Subaru WRX STI, 04+ Subaru Forester XT, 05+ Subaru Legacy GT, and 05–09 Subaru Outback XT.

Using this Mishimoto exhaust adapter is easy. First, gather all the included parts: the adapter, stainless - steel hardware, and the new 3” 2 - bolt flange gasket. Make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool. Locate the stock downpipe and the exhaust. Remove any old or damaged gaskets. Then, attach the adapter to the stock downpipe using the provided hardware. Next, connect the 3” exhaust to the adapter. Tighten all the bolts properly, but don't over - tighten. When it comes to maintenance, since it's made of 304 stainless steel, it doesn't need much. Just give it a regular visual check for any signs of damage or loose bolts. If you notice any issues, replace the parts as needed. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's safety guidelines during installation and use.
