It's designed to prevent exhaust leaks that other designs often have. It features a 2.5” machined lip flange that fits smoothly into the downpipe and transitions to a 3.0' diameter for connection to your 3.0” midpipe/catback. Using this exhaust adapter flange is easy. First, make sure your Subaru has a 2.5 / OEM downpipe and a 3.0' midpipe or catback. Then, take the adapter flange out of the box.
