Perrin's Afta - MAF hose is a great upgrade. It replaces the stock corrugated rubber hose between the turbo inlet and the factory air box. With a larger internal volume and smooth interior, it allows for better airflow. It's designed to work with the stock air box, but also compatible with any intake that uses the stock rubber hose.
Using this Perrin Afta - MAF hose is easy. First, gather all the parts in the box: the intake tube, two clamps, and check the warranty and instructions. Then, remove the stock corrugated rubber hose between the turbo inlet and the factory air box. Next, install the new Afta - MAF intake tube in its place and secure it with the provided clamps. The whole process should take about 10 minutes, and you don't need to tune your vehicle. As for maintenance, regularly check the clamps to make sure they're tight.
