Product Information

Fitment Information: This alternator relocation kit fits 2002 - 2014 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI, 2004 - 2013 Subaru Forester XT, and 2005 - 2012 Subaru Legacy GT. Note that this kit is for EJ25 applications, and the dipstick needs modification to fit the 2.0L EJ20 WRX. Features: The IAG Performance Version 2 Alternator Relocation Kit for reversed intake manifold and power - steering helps create space in the accessory drive system. It allows you to reverse the intake manifold 180 degrees, with the throttle body facing forward, a popular setup for street and race cars with a rotated turbo system. The V2 design offers quality improvements and easier installation compared to the previous version. The new bracket design relocates the alternator without modifying the OEM bracketry or oil dipstick mounting for the EJ25 (EJ20 needs dipstick modifications). It also has a specially designed spring - loaded indexing belt tension adjuster for easy belt installation. The kit includes a CNC aluminum bracket with a spring - loaded indexing adjuster, an accessory belt, a powder - coated steel bracket, a roller, and hardware for Subaru EJ25 series engines. This version uses power steering and doesn't require modifications to the OEM alternator bracket. What's in the Box: (1) CNC Aluminum Relocation Bracket with Spring - loaded Belt Adjuster, (1) Powder - coated Steel Accessory Bracket, (1) Accessory Belt, (1) Roller, (7) Bolts, (2) Washers. Install Notes: The aluminum relocation bracket with spring - loaded adjuster and roller comes loosely assembled. You must remove the A/C. The bracket and belt system are designed for OEM pulleys, and depending on the application, the belt system, rollers, and turbo piping may need modifications for a reverse intake manifold installation. Professional installation is recommended.

Using the IAG V2 Alternator Relocation Kit is a great way to enhance your Subaru's performance. First, check if your vehicle is in the fitment list: 2002 - 2014 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, 2004 - 2013 Forester XT, or 2005 - 2012 Legacy GT. If you have a 2.0L EJ20 WRX, remember to modify the dipstick. Before starting the installation, remove the A/C. The aluminum relocation bracket with the spring - loaded adjuster and roller comes loosely assembled, so you'll need to put it together. The kit is designed to work with OEM pulleys, but depending on your vehicle, you might need to modify the belt system, rollers, or turbo piping for a proper reverse intake manifold setup. It's a good idea to have a professional handle the installation. After installation, keep an eye on the belt tension. The spring - loaded indexing belt tension adjuster makes it easy to adjust if needed. For maintenance, check the bolts and washers regularly to make sure they're tight. If you notice any unusual noises or vibrations from the alternator area, have it checked out right away.
