Product Information

Part #: 314337. JE's piston and ring designs are expertly crafted for extreme applications, even professional competitions. In high - demand scenarios with high compression ratios, heavy boost, or significant nitrous usage, the 2618 aluminum alloy with high tensile strength is a must - have. Fitment: Suitable for SUBARU EJ25 DOHC from 1997 to 1999. STD Bore is 99.5mm, deck clearance is '0', and compression is calculated with a .054' head gasket. Features: The dome/dish needs no deburring or prep. It's made of 2618 T6 high - tensile forged aluminum. The dome and dishes have smooth radii for great flame travel. Ring widths are 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.5mm. It comes with a .905 x 2.500 (Round Forging) and .905 x 2.250” (FSR Forging) straight - wall carbon steel wrist pin. Pin fitting and Tru - Arc locks are included. The set contains 4 pistons and 4 rings.

Using these JE pistons and rings is straightforward. First, make sure your SUBARU EJ25 DOHC engine from 1997 - 1999 is clean and in good condition before installation. When installing the pistons, carefully align them and use the provided wrist pin and Tru - Arc locks. Be gentle with the rings to avoid any damage. For maintenance, check the pistons and rings regularly for signs of wear. Keep the engine oil clean and change it according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Avoid over - revving the engine, especially during the break - in period. If you notice any strange noises or performance issues, stop using the engine and have it checked immediately.
