It easily converts the 7/8 - inch block outlet to a 5/8 - inch vent hose, providing a simple way to connect these AOS systems to the 3MI drain hose. The drain hose can be bought separately. This barb replaces the 'Y' fitting in the AOS kits. Connect the AOS drain barb to the 1/2 portion of the 3MI Racing drain hose. The 5/8 hose goes directly into the top of the center block vent, with the adapter handling the 5/8 to 7/8 hose size conversion. Using this 3MI Racing hose adapter is easy. First, remove the 'Y' fitting that comes with your AOS kit.
