A large intercooler has a great advantage: its big surface area can quickly get rid of heat. But if you have a small or stock splitter, the intercooler's effective cooling area drops a lot. Another wrong move is removing the splitter completely. This makes air flow around the intercooler instead of through it. With less air passing through, the intercooler heats up, warms the intake charge, and cuts power. The answer is our large Process West intercooler splitter. It seals around the intercooler tightly, pushing cooling air through the core. This lowers charge temperatures and boosts power. This splitter is made for the Process West Top Mount Intercooler. It might work with other intercooler brands, but we can't guarantee the fit.

Using this Process West intercooler splitter is easy. First, make sure you have the right intercooler, preferably the Process West Top Mount Intercooler. Then, carefully install the splitter around the intercooler to create a tight seal. When installing, ensure there are no gaps so that the air is forced through the core. Note that while it may fit other brands of intercoolers, we can't confirm the fitment. So, it's best to check beforehand. For maintenance, regularly inspect the splitter for any signs of wear or damage. Clean it gently with a mild detergent and water if it gets dirty.
