Product Information

Part #: 314338. JE's piston and ring designs are engineered for extreme applications, even professional competition. For high - compression ratios, heavy boost, or heavy nitrous use, they use high - tensile 2618 aluminum alloy. Fitment: 1997 - 1999 SUBARU EJ25 DOHC. STD Bore: 99.5mm. Deck Clearance is '0'. Compression is calculated with a .054' Head Gasket. Features: The dome/dish needs no deburring. Made of 2618 T6 high - tensile forged aluminum. Smooth radii on dome and dishes for great flame travel. Ring widths are 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.5mm. Comes with .905 x 2.500 (Round Forging) and .905 x 2.250” (FSR Forging) straight - wall carbon steel wrist pins. Pin fitting and Tru - Arc locks are included. Package contains 4 pistons and 4 rings.

Using these JE pistons and rings is straightforward. First, make sure your 1997 - 1999 Subaru EJ25 DOHC engine is properly prepared. Check the bore size to ensure it's 99.5mm as specified. Install the pistons and rings carefully, following the included pin fitting and using the Tru - Arc locks. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the engine's performance. If you notice any unusual noises or power loss, it might be time to inspect the pistons and rings. Regularly check the engine oil for any signs of metal shavings, which could indicate wear. Also, make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals. Avoid over - revving the engine, especially during the break - in period. And always use high - quality fuel and oil to keep your engine running smoothly and your pistons and rings in good condition.
