Product Information

Part #: 310937. JE piston designs are expertly crafted for extreme Subaru WRX and STI applications, even professional competition. In high - demand scenarios with high compression ratios, heavy boost, or nitrous use, the 2618 aluminum alloy with high tensile strength is a must. Fitment: SUBARU EJ257 TIME ATTACK 'FSR'. Note: Now compatible with both OEM and aftermarket rods! Some blocks may need clearance for stroker applications. Key features include: no need to deburr or prepare the dome/dish; made of 2618 T6 high - tensile forged aluminum; dome and dishes have smooth radii for great flame travel; 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.5mm ring widths; comes with .905 x 2.500 (Round Forging) and .905 x 2.250” (FSR Forging) straight - wall carbon steel wrist pins; includes pin fitting and Tru - Arc locks; package contains 4 pistons and 4 rings.

Using these JE pistons and rings is easy. First, make sure your engine is clean and ready for installation. Check if your engine block needs any clearance for stroker applications. You can use either OEM or aftermarket rods as these pistons are compatible with both. When installing, you don't have to worry about deburring or preparing the dome/dish, which saves you time. The smooth radii on the dome and dishes help the flame travel better, enhancing engine performance. Just follow the standard piston and ring installation procedures. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the engine oil. Regularly change the oil according to your vehicle's maintenance schedule to ensure the pistons and rings are well - lubricated. Also, avoid over - boosting or excessive nitrous use for a long time as it can put extra stress on the pistons. If you notice any unusual engine noises or performance issues, have your engine checked by a professional mechanic right away.
