This stops the subframe from moving around under drivetrain torque or suspension load, keeps the suspension geometry perfect, and reduces wheel hop. The slide - in shim system lets you easily adjust the subframe's height. You can fine - tune the roll center and anti - squat behavior to your liking. Raising the subframe can balance the roll center for a lowered car, though it increases anti - squat. Lowering it decreases anti - squat but affects the roll center. These SPL solid series bushings are precisely CNC machined from billet aluminum for a perfect fit. The kit also comes with optional rubber isolation washers to cut down on noise transfer from the subframe to the chassis. Made in the USA.

Using these SPL subframe bushings is easy. First, remove the old stock rubber bushings from your 1990 - 1996 Nissan 300ZX. Then, install the new solid aluminum bushings in their place. You can use the slide - in shim system to adjust the subframe height. If you want to change the roll center or anti - squat behavior, just slide the shims to raise or lower the subframe as you like.
