Product Information

Part #: TS-SU-463BK. This Torque Solution Turbo Inlet Hose is designed for Subaru EJ Engines. Compared to the restrictive OEM corrugated inlet hose, our 4-ply high-grade silicone hose with wire reinforcement is larger and smoothes the airflow into the turbo. It increases air flow, eliminates the failure-prone corrugated rubber hose, and comes with a black anodized billet aluminum coupler and silicone-friendly stainless steel hose clamps. It offers a direct fit and a limited lifetime warranty. ***Important note: The Torque Solution inlet bypasses the PCV Diagnosis Port. You need to perform a simple bypass. First, find the PCV Diagnosis connector (grey or white depending on the year) on the block next to the throttle body. Then, use needle nose pliers to remove the jumper pin from the connector (it should come out easily with slight pressure, don't discard it). Finally, place the jumper pin into the female harness plug and secure it with electrical tape. Proposition 65 requires warnings for Californians about chemical exposures. WARNING: (http://www.p65warnings.ca.gov)

This Torque Solution Turbo Inlet Hose is easy to install and a great upgrade for your Subaru. To install, just replace the old inlet hose with this new one. It's a direct fit, so it should go in smoothly. Remember, the inlet bypasses the PCV Diagnosis Port. You'll need to do a simple bypass. Locate the PCV Diagnosis connector next to the throttle body, remove the jumper pin with needle nose pliers, and then put it in the female harness plug and secure it with electrical tape. To keep it in good condition, check the hose and clamps regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, replace the parts as needed. And don't forget about the Proposition 65 warning if you're in California.
