Inside, they're insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool and covered with a high-temperature mesh. Designed specifically for all stock Subaru WRX/STI turbochargers, they can also fit many aftermarket turbochargers with internal wastegates. The heat tolerance of the Subaru WRX turbo blanket is truly impressive. On the interior surface, it has a max temperature rating of 2012°F / 1100°C and a continuous use limit of 1832°F / 1000°C. For the exterior surface, the direct contact limit is 600°F / 316°C, and the radiant heat limit is 1100°F / 593°C.

Using this turbo blanket is easy. Just fit it onto your Subaru WRX/STI turbocharger or compatible aftermarket turbocharger with internal wastegates. Make sure it's properly seated.
