Product Information

Part #: TR - TS1028. The Tomioka Racing Hybrid TD05 - GT28 Ball Bearing Turbocharger combines a TD05 housing with a ball bearing CHRA. It uses genuine Garret Ball Bearing tech and our custom billet compressor wheel, creating a stock - location medium - frame turbo for Subaru WRX/STi. Ideal for those seeking a fast - spooling turbo for the Subaru EJ boxer engine. Each turbo comes with a billet wastegate actuator and a 1.3 - bar actuator spring. It's designed for smooth spool up to the redline. All necessary fittings and gaskets are included. Turbo features ball bearings, a standard Subaru 5 - bolt flange, a 53.9mm compressor wheel inlet, 71mm outlet, 53.9mm turbine wheel inlet, 76mm outlet, a 1.3 - bar/19 - psi actuator, an 8 cm2 turbine housing, and can reach a max power of 480 HP. Key features are the genuine Garrett Ball Bearing, billet compressor wheel, billet wastegate actuator, and stock location. The kit includes the turbocharger, actuator, oil pipe, water pipe, gaskets, and hardware kits.

Using this turbocharger is straightforward. First, make sure you have all the parts from the kit, including the turbocharger, actuator, oil pipe, water pipe, gaskets, and hardware kits. Install it in the stock location of your Subaru WRX or STi as described in your vehicle's manual. Remember, the turbo comes with a 1.3 - bar actuator spring, so there's no need to change it unless you have specific power requirements. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the oil pipe for any leaks. Also, keep an eye on the gaskets to ensure a proper seal. If you notice any abnormal noises or a drop in performance, it's a good idea to have the turbo inspected. And always follow your vehicle's maintenance schedule for the best results.
