Product Information

TS - 0605 - 1072. This Turbosmart internal wastegate actuator is a perfect fit for your 2008 - 2014 Subaru STI and WRX. It significantly improves turbo response and sensitivity when managing boost pressures. As a direct bolt - on replacement for the factory part, it's super easy to install without any special tools or fabrication. Features include a silicone diaphragm with Nomex reinforcement for high - temperature resistance, high - grade billet aluminum construction, stainless steel rods and connecting clevis for corrosion protection, a locking collar design cap for quick spring changes, and it's ideal for use with any Turbosmart boost controller. Applications cover Subaru WRX STi (2.5L) from 2008 onwards (VF48 turbo) and Subaru WRX (2.5L) from 2009 onwards (VF52 turbo).

Using this Turbosmart internal wastegate actuator is a breeze. First, make sure your vehicle is turned off and cooled down. Then, simply remove the old factory actuator and bolt this one in its place. You don't need any special tools to do this. When it comes to the spring changes, the locking collar design cap allows you to quickly swap them out. Just remember, always follow the instructions that come with your Turbosmart boost controller if you're using one with this actuator. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the stainless steel rods and connecting clevis for any signs of corrosion. If you notice any issues, clean them gently. Also, the silicone diaphragm with Nomex reinforcement can handle high temperatures well, but try to avoid extreme heat situations for long periods to extend its lifespan.
