Unlike the factory thermostat that opens at 76.5 degrees Celsius, this unit opens at 60 degrees Celsius. It helps cool down your engine before heat builds up. Once the engine is fully warmed up, it allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier than standard thermostats, reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.
