Unlike the factory thermostat that opens at 78 degrees Celsius, the ISR unit opens at 68 degrees Celsius. It cools down your engine before heat builds up. Once the engine is fully warmed up, it allows the coolant to flow through the engine sooner than standard thermostats, reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures. Note: All ISR Performance products are designed for off-road use only. Legal in California only for racing vehicles that may never be used, registered, or licensed for highway use.
