Product Information

Part #: ACR-1846. The Action Clutch stage 3 clutch kit features a sprung hub for moderate dampening, making it more suitable for daily street driving than solid disc designs. It offers a bit more pedal pressure, aggressive engagement, fast heat dissipation, and an amazing 170% increase in holding capacity. Ideal for street use and medium track activities, this single diaphragm ceramic clutch system is a great choice. The heavy - duty pressure plate has reinforced drive straps for long - lasting use. The MIBA ceramic clutch disc is designed for low to mild horsepower vehicles. It's perfect for heavy - duty street driving and frequent racing. You can choose between 6 - puck and 4 - puck discs. Note that some clutch chatter and increased gear rattle are normal with this type of clutch kit.

Using this Action Clutch ACR - 1846 Stage 3 clutch kit is straightforward. When you're driving, expect a bit more pressure on the pedal compared to a regular clutch, but it offers an aggressive engagement for a more responsive feel. For normal street use, just drive as you would with any other car. When you're on the track, you'll notice its fast heat dissipation and great holding capacity. As for maintenance, it's a good idea to check the pressure plate and the clutch disc regularly, especially if you do a lot of racing. If you notice any abnormal noises or a significant change in the pedal feel, it might be time to have it inspected. Also, keep in mind that some clutch chatter and increased gear rattle are normal for this type of clutch kit, so don't be alarmed by it. When choosing between the 6 - puck and 4 - puck discs, consider your driving style and the amount of power your vehicle has.
