Part #: R180 - RDF. The ASF machine Billet Aluminum R180 Differential Cover is crafted in Colorado. It's made from top - notch 6061 - T6 aluminum and has a mil - spec clear anodized finish. Here are its amazing benefits: It has an increased fluid capacity of 1.37 quarts for better heat management. It weighs over 50 grams more than the cast OEM version. There are dual M20x1.5 ports for filling, draining, or for external cooler/pump in drift and endurance uses. The thread and pitch are the same as 06 + R180 temp probe fittings. It comes with a 1/2' BSSP sightglass for easy fluid level checks. A baffled industrial gearbox breather fitting and an OEM magnetic m20x1.5 drain plug are included. It uses the baffled factory gasket Subaru 38353AA050 (sold separately) and is compatible with 83mm or 59mm mounting studs. Note: temp probe adapter and studs are not included. It fits 2004+ Subaru STI models.

Using this ASF R180 differential cover is easy. First, make sure you have the Subaru 38353AA050 gasket (sold separately) ready. Then, install the cover on your 2004+ Subaru STI using either 83mm or 59mm mounting studs. You can use the dual M20x1.5 ports to fill or drain fluid, or connect an external cooler/pump. Check the fluid level through the 1/2' BSSP sightglass regularly. When it comes to maintenance, remember to clean the drain plug and sightglass occasionally. Also, keep an eye on the fluid capacity as the increased capacity helps with heat management.
