Product Information

Upgrade your 2004 - 2007 Subaru STi with our top - notch one - piece driveshaft! Crafted from 6061 - T6 aluminum, it's a 3 - foot shaft that slashes weight by about half compared to the factory two - piece version. This lighter design makes your car feel super responsive, and there's no more annoying up - and - down movement of the hanger bearing during acceleration. The one - piece aluminum shaft comes with larger, replaceable, and greaseable u - joints, handling up to 650WHP and speeds of 155 MPH. It's available for most common motor/trans combos, and if yours isn't listed, we can make a custom shaft for you. But remember, this driveshaft is rated for 650WHP and a top speed of 155MPH, so don't push it beyond that. It has a 3 - foot diameter, and your vehicle might need a bit of modification to the driveshaft tunnel for a perfect fit. Ensure there's at least 3/4 - foot clearance around the driveshaft and that your differential bushings aren't worn, as improper fitment can cause damage not covered by the warranty.

Using this driveshaft is simple. First, remove the factory two - piece shaft and install the new one - piece aluminum driveshaft. Make sure to check the fitment carefully. Since it has a 3 - foot diameter, your vehicle may need some minor changes to the driveshaft tunnel. Before using the car, ensure there's at least 3/4 - foot clearance around the driveshaft. Also, check the differential bushings; if they're worn, replace them to avoid damaging the driveshaft. This driveshaft is rated for 650WHP and a top speed of 155MPH, so don't drive at speeds higher than that. For maintenance, the u - joints are greaseable and replaceable. Regularly grease the u - joints to keep them working smoothly. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, replace the u - joints right away. Keep an eye on the fitment and clearance during regular vehicle inspections to ensure the driveshaft is in good condition.
