Product Information

This ACT Streetlite flywheel 600235 is a great upgrade for your Subaru. It fits 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI and 2007 - 2009 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B models. Made from tough Chromoly Steel, it's much lighter than the stock flywheel. It offers maximum strength, low inertia, good heat tolerance, and high rigidity. This flywheel is perfect for street driving or drag racing. One big plus is that it's serviceable and can be resurfaced without buying extra parts. It weighs 15.5lbs and has 124 teeth. You'll notice a big improvement in engine response and acceleration, with a bit of gear rattle similar to OE to mild levels. It's recommended for both street and race use. The ACT flywheel is forged, CNC machined, and computer - balanced for smooth performance at high RPMs. What's included in the package? A Streetlite Flywheel and a Pilot Bearing.

Using the ACT Streetlite Flywheel is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is a 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI or a 2007 - 2009 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B as this flywheel is specifically designed for these models. When installing, follow the standard installation procedures for flywheels. Be careful with the pilot bearing that comes with the flywheel; it needs to be installed correctly for proper operation. As for use, you'll notice an immediate improvement in engine response and acceleration, whether you're on the street or at the race track. Just keep in mind that there might be a bit of gear rattle, which is normal for this type of flywheel. For maintenance, since it's serviceable, you can resurface it when needed without having to buy additional parts. Regularly check the flywheel for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it's best to have it inspected by a professional mechanic. This will ensure your flywheel continues to perform well and lasts a long time.
