Using your Torque Solution steering damper lockdown is easy. First, make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off. Locate the OEM steering damper. Remove it carefully using the included M5 hex wrench and the appropriate socket cap screws. Then, install the 2 billet lockdown adapters in place of the old damper. Use the provided M6 x 60 and M6 x 70 socket cap screws to secure them tightly. Apply the Vibra - Tite Blue thread locker to the screws to prevent them from loosening. As for maintenance, regularly check the screws to make sure they're still tight. If you notice any excessive steering play coming back, it might be a sign that the screws need to be tightened.
