Product Information

Part #: SCR5949 - 6. Carrillo's Pro - Super A beam (Pro - SA) connecting rods are a game - changer. They're lighter than traditional H - beam rods but incredibly strong. These rods are designed for mid to high horsepower and high - boost turbocharged and supercharged applications, filling the gap between Pro - H and standard Pro - A rods. With a reduced windage design, they let your engine produce more horsepower and reach higher RPMs. The Pro - Super A beam rods for the 370Z / G37 come with standard 3/8th inch WMC cap bolts and can handle up to 800whp. They're perfect for cars used both on the street and the race track. Note: These rods are only for the VQ37HR engine.

Using these Carrillo Pro - SA connecting rods is straightforward. First, make sure your engine is the VQ37HR type as these rods are specifically designed for it. When installing, use the standard 3/8th inch WMC cap bolts that come with the rods. For daily street driving and occasional race use, these rods will perform great. As for maintenance, regularly check the bolts for tightness, especially after long drives or high - performance runs. Keep your engine well - lubricated to ensure the rods operate smoothly. Avoid over - revving your engine beyond what the rods are rated for (800whp), as this can cause damage. If you notice any unusual noises or vibrations, it's a good idea to have your engine inspected.
