Product Information

Fitment: This single Manley H-Beam connecting rod fits 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX and 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI. Note that it can be used in an EJ255 engine only with an aftermarket piston that doesn't need a tapered connecting rod. Manley, in business since 1966, is well - known for making aftermarket and OEM engine internals for Subaru. Their Turbo Tuff line is top - notch, and the H - Beam rods are a more affordable option. Partially made in China and finished in the US, they balance cost and quality. These rods are weight - matched within +/- 1.5 grams and have perfectly rounded ends. Ideal for street applications up to 600 wheel horsepower. They're suitable for Subaru EJ205 and EJ257 engines. Sold individually. Specs: Big End Bore is 2.164', Big End Width is.840', Center - to - Center is 5.137', Pin Bore is.9063', Pin Diameter is.905' (23mm), and Weight is 535g. Manley Pistons can be bought separately at IIR.

Using this Manley H - Beam connecting rod is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is a 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX or 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI. If you're using it in an EJ255 engine, ensure you have an aftermarket piston that doesn't require a tapered connecting rod. When installing, handle it carefully as it's weight - matched within a small margin. For street applications up to 600 wheel horsepower, it'll perform great. As for maintenance, regularly check for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it's best to replace the rod. And remember, you can buy Manley Pistons separately at IIR if you need them.
