Product Information

Part #: SB1001-051. Our JE Pro Seal Head Gaskets are crafted from top - notch AISI 304 Stainless Steel. We use advanced in - line laser cutting and multi - stage embossing technologies to guarantee top - level quality. Each layer of our Multi - Layered Steel gaskets is precisely cut and formed for optimal performance. Our proprietary coating technologies use multiple layers to create an ultimate seal between the head and block mating surfaces. These coatings often eliminate the need for extra deck surfacing. Our coating process fully encapsulates all exposed metal, far better than other products with exposed raw steel edges. The layers include fluoroelastomer (FKM) for great resistance to extreme temperatures and chemicals. This technology offers excellent conformability, oxidation resistance, and easy removal even after extreme heat exposure. Specs: Gasket Bore - 3.937 inches (100.00 mm), Thickness - 0.051 inches (1.30 mm).

Using your JE Pro Seal head gasket is straightforward. First, make sure the mating surfaces of the engine head and block are clean and free of any debris or old gasket material. Then, carefully place the gasket on the block, aligning it properly. Install the engine head on top, following the manufacturer's torque specifications. When it comes to maintenance, there's not much to do. Just keep an eye on your engine's performance. If you notice any signs of a leak, such as coolant loss or a drop in compression, it's time to check the gasket. Remember, avoid over - tightening the bolts as it can damage the gasket. Also, try to keep your engine operating at the recommended temperature range to prolong the gasket's lifespan.
