3MI Racing AOS to EJ Turbo Drain Hose Kit Subaru WRX 2002-2014 / STI 2004-2021

Fitment Information: This drain hose kit is a perfect match for 2002 - 2014 Subaru WRX and 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI. Please note it's a direct fit for your KillerB or Verus AOS system. Other AOS systems may need extra parts for installation. Features: Many regular drain hoses are nearly horizontal or have a small vertical angle. This stops oil from draining back to the sump during acceleration. EJ engines can push oil into the heads during sharp turns, causing too much oil to enter the AOS. The 3MI Racing Drain Hose Kit replaces the turbo drain hose, lowering the return point by about 4 inches. This improves oil return in all situations and helps your AOS work better. The hose is made of wrapped silicone with nylon reinforcement and a fluorosilicone (FVMQ) liner for long - term use with oil. It comes with an extra - long turbo oil drain hose for rotated turbo kits. The drain hose has marks for cutting for stock location turbos. It also features a 24' AOS drain hose that can be cut to fit common AOS install locations. New stainless hose clips for the turbo drain hose are included, along with an aluminized - fiberglass heat sleeve to protect the AOS drain from high exhaust heat. Track testing showed that AOSs often act like 'oil capacitors', mainly draining when braking. Secondary cans caught oil pushed from the AOS or excess oil in vent hoses. Adding this hose helped solve these problems. Installation notes: Installing along the bellhousing is popular and leaves enough space for TMIC or FMIC. When installing, you can choose to put it along the bellhousing or in front of the uppipe under the OEM turbo bracket. Cut the 24' AOS drain hose to the right length according to your AOS install location and use the included stainless hose clips to secure it. If you have a rotated turbo kit, you can use the extra - long turbo oil drain hose. Here are some important notes. You'll need to buy a single hose adapter from the 7/8' inch block outlet to the 5/8' inch vent hose separately if you have IAG Street, IAG Comp, Cobb or Crawford AOS systems. For maintenance, the fluorosilicone liner and nylon - reinforced silicone hose are designed to last a long time. But keep an eye on the aluminized - fiberglass heat sleeve for any signs of wear due to high exhaust heat. Regularly check the hose clips to make sure they're tight and the hose isn't leaking oil.
