Product Information

Fitment: This engine mount bushing set fits 2002 - 2021 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI, 2004 - 2013 Subaru Forester XT, and 2005 - 2012 Subaru Legacy GT. Features: Specifically designed for IAG Subaru EJ engine mounts, these mounts let you swap bushings for street or track use. The Competition Series kit comes with eight 90A durometer bushings, stiffer than the 75A Street Series ones. They significantly cut down the forward - backward movement of the transmission and engine during hard acceleration. But note, the higher durometer means you'll notice more NVH inside the car. What's Included: The kit includes eight Competition Series Red 90A Durometer Bushings. Please note: Pins aren't included. You can reuse the original pins or buy them separately. Pins are needed when switching from a Race Series engine mount with solid bushings.

Using the IAG Competition Series Engine Mount Bushing Set is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible Subaru models like the WRX, STI, Forester XT, or Legacy GT. If you're swapping from a Race Series engine mount with solid bushings, you'll need to use pins, which are not included in the set. You can either reuse the original pins or purchase them separately. When installing the bushings, take your time to ensure they fit snugly. These bushings are designed to reduce the movement of the transmission and engine under hard acceleration, giving you better control. However, keep in mind that because they have a higher durometer, you'll experience more noise, vibration, and harshness inside the car. For maintenance, regularly check the bushings for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it's a good idea to replace them to keep your vehicle running smoothly.
