Its short primaries and single secondary significantly cut down header volume, enabling exhaust gas pressure to build rapidly. The symmetrical 4 - 1 design keeps exhaust velocity high and steady as RPMs climb, giving you faster spool - up time compared to long primary/double secondary designs. You'll instantly feel the difference in throttle response and power - holding ability at high revs. Key features include: Short Equal Length Primaries for quick spool - up, Symmetrical Primary Design for consistent pulse velocities, Smooth Mandrel Bends for unrestricted flow, Thick Walled 321 Stainless Steel Construction for long - lasting durability in high - temperature turbocharged applications, High Heat Retention to increase turbine efficiency, an included Up - Pipe to Manifold V - Band (not welded), a Non - Trimmed or Welded 321 Stainless Steel Up - Pipe, and it works with OEM EJ25 Oil Pans and Killer B Motorsport Performance Aluminum Oil Pan. It doesn't come with a turbo flange or accommodations for an external wastegate, but it allows for flexible up - pipe placement for various rotated turbocharger setups. Using your Killer B DIY Holy Header is a breeze. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible models listed (2002 - 2014 WRX, 2004 - 2017 STI, etc.). Check if your car needs any special parts like a 2.5l sti oil pan or an sti oil cooler as noted. When installing, handle the header carefully, as it's made of thick - walled 321 stainless steel. The included up - pipe to manifold V - band and 321 stainless steel up - pipe can be easily attached. Remember, there's no turbo flange provided, so you'll need to use your own. This header is great for rotated turbocharger setups, so place the up - pipe according to your turbo's position. As for maintenance, since it's made of 321 stainless steel, it can withstand high temperatures. You can ceramic coat or wrap it without worrying about exceeding the temperature range like with 304 stainless. Regularly check for any signs of damage or loose connections. Just keep in mind, this product is not legal for sale or use in California on emission - controlled motor vehicles.
