Part #: NAM - RSPD041. This mid - pipe is a must - have for your 2008+ WRX and STi Sedans. It features a 3 - inch primary circuit with a unique Y - section. This Y - section ensures a smooth and optimal flow transition from the 3 - inch main circuit to the 2 - inch rear circuit axleback exhaust. The stepped design of the Y - section places larger - diameter tubing at the gas - flow transition. As the exhaust splits from the main circuit into the rear circuits, it has a triple - stepped graduation to the 2 - inch rear circuit. This design boosts torque better than other catbacks on the market, while delivering the same high horsepower as high - end catback exhausts. Plus, the 2 - inch secondary circuit design controls the exhaust sound frequency, so you can enjoy a drone - free ride. It's the front part of our Catback Exhausts for '08 - '10 WRX Sedans and '11+ WRX & STi Sedans. The mid - pipe is a 3 - piece design. It uses latch - over V - band clamps at the middle connections, a factory - fitting 3 - inch flared flange at the front (downpipe) end, and factory - fit flanges at the axleback section. These V - band clamps make installation a breeze, and the 3 - piece design allows for maximum adjustment for ground and vehicle chassis clearance. It comes with a proprietary 3 - inch donut gasket, which lets you connect the mid - pipe to your factory downpipe or a Nameless Performance 3 - inch downpipe without any flow restrictions. Made entirely of T304 stainless steel, it offers top - notch corrosion resistance and a long lifespan. When paired with our axleback exhausts, it can increase wheel torque by up to 34 ft - lb and add 22 whp, as tested with a Stage 1 Off - The - Shelf tune as the baseline dyno pull.


Using your Nameless Performance mid - pipe is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool. Connect the mid - pipe to your factory downpipe or a Nameless Performance 3 - inch downpipe using the provided 3 - inch donut gasket. Then, use the latch - over V - band clamps to connect the different parts of the mid - pipe. Adjust the position to ensure proper clearance from the ground and the vehicle chassis. Once everything is connected and tightened, you're ready to go. As for maintenance, regularly check the V - band clamps to make sure they are tight. If you notice any signs of corrosion on the stainless - steel parts, clean them with a mild stainless - steel cleaner. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the surface. When driving, be aware of your surroundings to prevent hitting the mid - pipe on rocks or other obstacles, which could cause damage.
