They're vehicle - specific and ensure a 100% bolt - in installation. The 600 Series base is made of 3/16' thick steel, providing a strong, flex - free mount. Besides the standard mounting holes, it has a wide metal platform for custom - mounting side mounts directly (drilling needed), ideal for race vehicles aiming for the lowest seat position. It's powder - coated in a black wrinkle finish. To install a Sparco seat, per seat, you'll need: For bottom - mount street series seats: a 600 series seat base, a #00493 track set (allows seat forward/backward adjustment), and a #50001 bottom - mount hardware kit. For side - mount competition series seats: a 600 series seat base, a #00493 track set, a side mount (steel #004902 or aluminum #600W), and a #50002 side - mount hardware kit.
