Place it in the right spot and use your fingers to squeegee out the water. Using your nails can ensure the edges stick well. It's a good idea to use a heat gun on low or a hair dryer to boost the vinyl's adhesion. The soapy water was just to let you align it right, and the heat will dry out the water and help with wrapping around tough edges. Let the overlay stick to the headlight for 24 hours. Once dry, it can handle automatic car washes and most power washing. Keep an eye on the edges over time and if needed, use a little heat again to re - adhere any parts that start to lift.
