Product Information

Part #: SPL SSB Z33. Upgrade your vehicle with our SPL SOLID aluminum subframe bushings. These bushings replace the stock soft rubber ones, getting rid of the subframe's free play relative to the chassis. This stops the subframe from moving around under drivetrain torque or suspension load, keeping the best suspension geometry and reducing wheel hop. Our slide-in shim system lets you easily adjust the subframe's height to fine-tune the roll center and anti-squat to your liking. Raise the subframe to adjust the roll center for a lowered car, though it increases anti-squat. Lower it to decrease anti-squat, but it affects the roll center. These SPL SOLID series bushings are precisely CNC machined from billet aluminum for a perfect fit. The kit also comes with optional rubber isolation washers to cut down on noise transfer from the subframe to the chassis. Fitment: 03-08 Nissan 350z, 03-06 G35 Sedan, 03-07 G35 Coupe, 09+ 370Z, 07-08 G35 Sedan, 08+ G37.

Using these SPL solid subframe bushings is straightforward. First, remove the stock rubber bushings from your vehicle. Then, install the new aluminum bushings in their place. You can use the slide - in shim system to adjust the subframe height. If you want to change the roll center for a lowered car, raise the subframe, but be aware it will increase anti - squat. Lowering it will have the opposite effect. When installing, make sure the bushings are properly aligned for the best performance. As for maintenance, periodically check the bushings for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it's a good idea to replace them. Also, keep the rubber isolation washers clean to ensure they effectively reduce noise transfer.
