Product Information

Part #: VSSB2 - C1SA4. Tein presents the new Flex Z coilovers for Subaru WRX and STI models from 2015 to 2021. Ideal for those seeking a quality suspension upgrade without breaking the bank. These coilovers come pre - assembled with top hats, ready for easy installation. Key features include: full - length ride height adjustment that barely affects ride quality, a twin - tube structure, a 16 - level linear damping force adjustment system, and a complete kit with upper mounts designed specifically for this coilover system (except for some models). It's a full - car kit with 4 shock absorbers and 4 springs. This new Flex Z series inherits the quality of Street Flex coilovers but at a much lower price, still 'Made in Yokohama'. Front drop height ranges from 0.2 to 3.2 inches, and rear drop height is 0.4 to 3.3 inches. Spring rates are 8k in the front and 7k in the rear.

Using the Tein Flex Z Coilover Kit is quite straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off. Carefully remove the old suspension components. Then, install the coilovers with the provided top hats and upper mounts. Adjust the ride height according to your preference. Remember, you can change the ride height with little impact on the ride quality. You can also adjust the damping force using the 16 - level linear system. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check for any signs of leakage or damage on the shock absorbers and springs. Clean the coilovers with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. If you notice any problems, it's best to consult a professional mechanic. Also, keep in mind the front drop height is between 0.2 - 3.2 inches and the rear is 0.4 - 3.3 inches, so don't adjust beyond these ranges to avoid issues.
