Part #: IS-DS-LSS14ABS-A. This is an ISR single shaft conversion for the 240SX platform with an LS T56. It's a full 6061-T6 aluminum shaft, about half the weight of the factory 2 - piece shaft. It has larger, replaceable, and greaseable u - joints and can handle up to 650WHP. Removing the factory 2 - piece shaft and installing this single shaft makes the car more responsive as the hanger bearing doesn't move during acceleration. Available for most popular motor/trans combos. Custom shafts are available if yours isn't listed. Note: The driveshaft length changes based on whether the car has ABS or you're using an ABS Diff. Using this ISR Performance driveshaft is straightforward. First, make sure to remove the factory 2 - piece shaft from your S Chassis LS T56 vehicle using the ISR LS swap mount. Then, install the new single aluminum driveshaft in its place. When ordering, always check if your car has ABS or if you're using an ABS Diff as this affects the driveshaft length. Select the right option from the menu. As for maintenance, the u - joints are replaceable and greaseable. Regularly grease the u - joints to keep the driveshaft working smoothly.
