Product Information

Part #: IS - DS - LSS14 - A. Upgrade your 240SX with an ISR LS T56 Aluminum Driveshaft. This is a single - shaft conversion for the 240SX platform, crafted from 6061 - T6 aluminum. It weighs about half as much as the factory 2 - piece shaft, making your car more responsive. The driveshaft features large, replaceable, and greaseable u - joints and can handle up to 650WHP. By replacing the factory 2 - piece shaft with this single shaft, you'll eliminate the up - and - down movement of the hanger bearing during acceleration. It's available for most popular motor/trans combinations, and custom shafts are also an option if yours isn't listed. Note that the presence or absence of ABS in your car or if you're using an ABS Diff will change the driveshaft length. Check your vehicle before ordering and select the right options from the menu above. This driveshaft is designed for S Chassis LS T56 with the ISR LS swap mount. It's built to order with a 2 - 3 week lead time.

Using your ISR Performance Aluminum Driveshaft is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is on a flat and stable surface. If you're replacing the factory 2 - piece shaft, carefully remove it following standard automotive procedures. Then, install the new single - piece driveshaft, ensuring all connections are tight. When selecting the driveshaft, remember to check if your car has ABS or if you're using an ABS Diff as this affects the length. Always choose the correct option from the menu. For maintenance, regularly inspect the u - joints. Since they are greaseable, you can use a standard grease gun to add lubricant every few thousand miles. This will keep the joints working smoothly and extend the lifespan of the driveshaft. If you notice any unusual noises or vibrations while driving, it's a good idea to have the driveshaft checked by a professional.
